How to Treat your Dog's or Cat's Diarrhea

"Last August while we went on vacation we put our 11 month old Newfoundland dog into a boarding kennel that is owned and operated by a Veterinarian. When our dog returned home after our vacation, he had a terrible case of irritated bowl syndrome. I made the mistake of not providing food for him and let the vet provide the food (I thought he would be in good hands). No matter what he ate, everything came out like water.
