Resthyro testimonials

The following are feedback/testimonials on Resthyro for Cat Hyperthyroidism

"I noticed after a couple weeks that my cat was starting to gain weight.
Unfortunately with my cat being so old she had a stroke two weeks ago and could not walk. She was making some small gains for a few days, but unfortunately I had to have her put down on Jan. 17th. I was pleased with the product that I had ordered and will use petwellbeing.com in the future as I have another cat who is fortunately young and healthy at the moment. I will recommend Petwellbeing to other people."

"Mini could not tolerate prescribed medication by the vet, and I felt she was too old and frail for surgery or other known remedies. I tried your product and it is helping to control her symptoms. She is not cured, but her quality of life has improved."

Tripsy testimonial

The following are feedback/testimonials on Tripsy for dog kidney disease.

"Yes It kept him comfortable and gave him a few additional months. I wish I would have known about this before he had severe kidney damage."

"Tripsy has helped us to keep Jackie alive 3 months after she quit eating."

"I found Tripsy on line and have been giving it to Samantha along with fluids twice a week at the vet. Something is working as she has gained back some of her weight and is acting normal."

Milk Thistle feedback

This week we have received positive feedback in regards to our MILK THISTILE medication.

"The product over the last few months has brought Boots back from deaths door. He is now acting like he did before the kidney failure started."

"I am using Canine Milk Thistle for dog liver disease in conjunction with once daily tablets of 200 mg Zentonil and it has helped her very much. She has been on this medication now for about 6 months."

"I was told my cat's kidneys were filled with stones according to the x-ray, and that he was severely dehydrated, and would most likely die. After using your product he is no longer on fluids and is living a normal life. People are amazed that he is the same cat they saw a year ago."

Tripsy testimonial

Hi,

I just ordered Tripsy for our cats CRF disease. I just ordered it put then clicked on the warning. It said not to use Tripsy if your cat has low blood cell counts. Does that mean anemia? His PCV (red blood cell ) count is 23% so don't know if I should try this or not.

All other treatments are failing according to his BUN/Creatinine/Phosphorus as they are high again at BUN 108, Creatinine 5.4 and Phosphours 16.0. We are doing Sub Q's at 150 ml's per day also along with a phosphorus binder, atenolol and pepcid.

He is acting and feeling fine so it is interesting that the blood test is showing so high. He is eating and jumps around like he has no problems.

Please respond ASAP as the Tripsy is being shipped today. I know I can always return it if you think it would be a danger to try this. The vet was not against trying any herbal remedies as long as it does not interfere with the vet's treatments. I was just concerned about your warning for Tripsy.

Anything is worth a try at this point.

Do you know what's in your pet's food?

One of the most common misconceptions is that all dog food, including most factory organic and nutrient rich foods are good for the consumer and their pet.

For those in Canada, the CBC will be airing a documentary tonight, Pet Food: A Dog's Breakfast. It explores the questionable ingredients in most commercial dog foods and how the regulations governing pet foods are alarmingly weak. It will air at 9:00 PT.

The above was personally driven home with last year's pet food scare which unfortunately, Freedom, my black lab, fell victim to. Thankfully he had a healthy recovery, however, like most, I've been questioning what exactly is in my dog's food.

A few points made in the documentary: If you do a side-by-side comparison, the "premium" brand is no better than the regular brand.

Most veterinarians receive the bulk of their information from pet food companies themselves, therefore, some are not supremely qualified to offer nutritional advice on certain foods.

This documentary and journal entry is a perfect introduction to tomorrow's entry in which I will be posting one of my dog's favorite meal time recipes which are healthy, inexpensive, tasty and you know exactly what's in your dog's food.

In addition to providing your dog with a healthy diet, a daily dog vitamin supplement not only boosts the nutritional value of the dog's food but it also replaces most nutritional content in commercial foods that are often degraded and or lost during food processing.

For those who miss the documentary tonight, CBC will be airing it throughout the weekend.

Regarding Shipping *Next Day Air Savers

Please note that although Pet Wellbeing offers discounted UPS shipping prices, we cannot always guarantee that items be shipped over the weekend.

In some cases, there are certain areas where customers reside in, who may be eligible to receive shipping for an item on Saturday. But there are requirements in place.

Customers who reside in certain areas who have UPS available to ship on a Saturday must have the following checked on their item to ensure appropriate delivery:

  1. The item must be marked off as either "Regular Next Day Air" or as "Early AM." Items cannot be listed as "Next Day Air Saver."

  2. The item must be marked off as a "Saturday Delivery," which would include an extra cost of US $14.50.

  3. The items must be labeled with an orange sticker marking it as a Saturday delivery.

In the future, in order to avoid such confusions, customers must ensure that all of the above are checked, otherwise as per regular procedures, all items shipped for Next Day Air Savers on Friday will be received after the weekend on Monday.

You can notify us of your intentions in advance and we would then be able to notify our warehouse to make the necessary changes accordingly. If ordering by phone, one of our customer service representatives will be able to assist you with the options.

Yours sincerely,

Pet Wellbeing Customer Service Team

Plantaeris testimonial

This week we had the following testimonials in regards to Plantaeris from our customer survey, e-mail as well as comments left on another blog entry.

Our 17 year old cat suffered from constipation quite a bit, eventually her colon was stretched to the point where she required surgery to remove the large colon. Post surgery we struggled for many months with diarrhea, she and us, bladder infections and prescribed drugs just weren't getting her back to 'normal'. As a last report we surfed the internet for a solution and found Plantaeris, what a difference it has made in all our lives, I wholeheartedly recommend trying this herbal remedy for your cat's (dog) and for your own relief! Thank you!

***************************************************

Dear Wellbeing folks,

I just want to say that after a frustrating round of diarrhea that lasted months for my poor cat Alice, this stuff has finally done the trick. I was so disappointed initially and had even past the point of asking for my money back, but I have full faith that this product has done what others ultimately failed to do. It just took longer than I'd hoped.

I ended up recommending this to my sister-in-law for her cat, and will let others know of its helpfulness.

February is Canine weight check month

A quick thank you to everyone who responded positively to my dog exercise blog entry on Friday. This month, according to http://www.stopcanineobesity.com/ is National canine weight check month. The website above has listings of vets in your area who are able to give your dog free weight checks.

In conjunction with walking your dog on a regular basis to ensure healthy overall living, placing him/her on a house/bathroom scale once a month is a good way to monitor and regulate your dog's weight.

Freedom, my black lab, actually looks forward to our talking scale in which a voice reads out his weight, he barks cutely as though there is someone inside the scale informing him of his weight.

I personally prefer to use digital scales when it comes to weighing myself or my dog, however, any weight management scale works perfectly.

Luv Sheila & Freedom (my black lab)

Every Friday, in support of canine weight check month in February, I will be sharing some healthy recipes in which I feed my black lab that are inexpensive, easy and enjoyable for both cats and dogs.

DOG'S NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION FOR MORE EXCERSISE

If pets could make a New Year's resolution I'm sure one of them would be to get in shape and exercise more, however, pets depend on us, their owners to help them achieve this.

Understandably during the Winter months the weather can be discouraging. Besides walking outdoors there are indoor alternatives to increase their activity level, raise their metabolism and to prevent obesity which can lead to kidney and possibly heart failure and or medical complications.

Dog's can't talk which is why it's important to be aware of your dogs response through various such as panting, resting, sweating, paw discomfort etc. Like humans a dog who normally doesn't engage in a lot of physical activity, especially toy or purse dogs, needs to start slowly, gradually increasing the pace of their physical activity by 10 minutes each week.

We've all had those days in which we aren't mentally or physically feeling our best, however, our dogs still need exercise. You can hire one of the neighborhood kids to walk your dog for 30 minutes allowing him/her to earn a little pocket change without sacrificing the health of your dog. I raised money for my gym membership last year by walking dogs for the elderly.

For larger and or older dogs a good alternative, especially during the summer, is to take the dog to a local public dog park/beach for a swim. The water pressure strengthens muscles and joints in a safe low impact environment, especially for older dogs who aren't able to take a lot of physical demands unlike younger dogs.

Walking the dog in any season can be a family event. Not only are you providing your dog much needed exercise, you're also bonding with your family. 30 minutes of family walk time makes the rest of the evening and chores less stressful and easier to accomplish.

Question about third party testing on PWB products

The following is a response to an inquiry that a potential customer made earlier this week, via telephone, in regards to whether any third party testing was/is done on any of the liquid products sold on petwellbeing.com.

All Natural Ingredients?

One of the most common questions we receive is whether our products contain all-natural ingredients?

They do. All our products were made in consultation with natural veterinarians. We pride ourselves in the all-natural ingredients our products contain. You can find more about the ingredients used in each of our products by scrolling onto the appropriate item and clicking on Ingredients.

In some cases, our folks experience some difficulties seeing the part where it says Ingredients. We recommend that you reset your cookies and cache from the tools settings on your computer. The green tab labelled as Ingredients should pop up therafter.

For most of you, you should be able to see the green tab entitled Ingredients. Voila and Bingo, you have found it!

How to Treat your Cat's or Dog's Arthritis

Ever experience aching pains in your body parts? Well, so can your beloved canine or feline friend, the same!

Understanding more about Canine Arthritis

Dogs frequently suffer from arthritis. If your pet has this disease, his or herjoints will become inflamed (swollen) and painful as the cartilage and connective tissues of his joints slowly break down.

Large breeds of dogs tend to suffer from arthritis more often than smaller breeds. This is probably due simply to the extra weight and stress on the joints of larger breeds. What is less clear is why purebred dogs, particularly males, suffer from canine arthritis more often than mixed breeds. Some symptoms to watch out for include:

Decreased alertness
Difficulty sitting or standing
Dislike over being petted or touched, yelping in certain cases
Extra time spent sleeping
Favoring of only one side of their body
General stiffness in the morning gradually improving throughout the day
Limping especially when he first gets up
Loss of interest in usual acitivies (running, swimming, playing, etc.)
Painful joints, often when touched
Reduced appetite
Reluctance to rise from a resting position
Swollen joints
Weight gain

Understanding more about Feline Arthritis

Cats are typically agile and nimble creatures, able to jump and climb in a lively and athletic manner. When feline arthritis strikes, however, all this can change. A cat suffering from this joint disease will no longer be able to move like it used to and will often experience significant pain. As pet owners, we never want our feline companions to suffer in any way so it's important to have any form of discomfort or illness treated and dealt with as quickly as possible. If you suspect that your cat may be suffering from arthritis, there are a number of symptoms and warning signs that you can keep an eye out for:

Aggressive type behavior
Appetite loss
Changes in mood
Constipation (because of inability to defecate from squatting)
Depression
Don't want to be touched or petted
Don't want to play in usual fashion
Don't want to run up the stairs
Failure to groom themselves properly or at all
Irritatable
Limpness (gradual worsening over time, during course of a day, and in cold, damp weather) Stiffness (gradual worsening over time, during course of a day, and in cold, damp weather)
Swollen joints (sometimes abnormal appearances)
Taking small jumps as opposed to large ones to reach a surface

Try Pet Wellbeing's all-natural remedies to assisting in treating your canine or feline friend's arthritis:

Old Bones for Dog Arthritis
Old Bones is a highly effective, all natural herbal ointment for your dog or cat. Applying it onto the skin of your four-legged feline or canine friend, Old Bones relieves the symptoms of arthritis, such as pain and swelling and is also great for sprains.

Tripsy feedback

The following is feedback that we have received for Tripsy for cat kidney disease.

Q7) Medical Condition:
A) congestive heart-lung disease, midstage kidney-failure and four weeks ago he had a stroke.

Q8) Do you have a positive experience about how our products helped your pet? If so, please share your story.
A) I wrote you guys before and can't emphasize enough how much your products have helped my boy.
He was put on IV 3xweekly after his diagnosis with kidney-failure.
By some miracle I found your website and ordered Tripsy for the latter.
Last march he started coughing terribly, worse at night and I took him to a traditional vet who diagnosed him with congestive heart-failure and prescribed Diltiazem which would have worsened his kidneys rapidly. He was given 10 days to a month to live. So I called you guys and spoke to Tiffany who with great patience and understanding calmed my distraught soul and frayed nerves. She suggested I put him on Hearty heart. He's been on both the Tripsy AND Hearty heart since then and I never gave him the chemicals prescribed.
Four weeks ago just as I got ready to go on a trip to Fl. he had a stroke for which Dr. Jill Elliot in NY suggested 30C of a homeopathic remedy called Arsenicum to support his heart (besides the herbal supplements by your company) and a Baby aspirin every three days. She also assured me it would be ok to leave him in the care of my good friend during my absence.
Needless to say on my return he read me the kitty-riot-act but knock wood - he's been fine with this regiment, trying to coax me to go to bed every night and purring happily when I climb into it with him.
Once again I cannot thank all of you enough Tiffany, Katherine and the rest of you for all you have done for my boy and me and I'm sure countless other people four- and two-legged feel the same.
(I am absolutely convinced if it would not be for Dr Elliot and you all my boy would not be around right now.) I wish all of you and every pet-lover who reads this a happy, peaceful 2008 full of abundance in all things healthy, good and beautiful inside and out.
With all my warmth and gratitude...
Gisela, Busters Mom

Supraglan testimonials

The following is customer feedback(s) for Supraglan for Dog Cushing's disease were e-mailed between Dec 22 - Jan 9th.

Murphy could barely walk and has been obese. With Old Timer & Supraglan, he is like a whole new dog. Even the vet is amazed and she had him on Chinese herbs. He is still on a homemade food diet along with your products. We hope the feline products will help our cat feel better, too.

Testimonial 2:

Abbigail is a different girl since she has been on superglan. She even likes the way it tastes! I have to admit, i tried a little bit to see what it tastes like, and it has a very pleasant taste. Her belly size has decreased, and her hair coat which was a mess looks great! Her back legs even have greater power and strength, and most important, she feels great! Thank-you! That supplement is worth every penny and more!

Testimonial 3:

I noticed our 7 year old dog Maximus (black lab/golden retriever mix)starting to drink a lot of water during the end of summer. At first I wasn't that concerned. But when it got to be 2 liters or more of water a day for a 60 lb dog, I knew something was up. I took him to our vet who did some blood work that showed it could be Diabetes Insepidus or Cushings Disease. The only way to determine which one is to bring him back for a day long bloodtest, which at the time we don't have the money. The Vet told me it was probably Cushings and that the meds for that to keep him alive would be about $300 a month for a dog his size and that it wouldn't guarantee him living, much less, living an easy life. I went home & cried & felt that I let him down since I didn't have the funds to help him. Then I went on the internet to see if there was anything more I could find out about these diseases & treating them. It led me to this website with Supraglan. I ordered 2 bottles on the whim it might work, it couldn't hurt!!! Well, within a couple weeks I noticed that Max no longer was drinking so much, his tummy didn't feel like a balloon that was ready to burst, he wasn't panting as much, and some of his playfulness started coming back. I still haven't had him to the vet to get the blood test done or the ultrasound (just don't have the finances yet, hopefully by income tax time). I have had him on Supraglan for 2 months now and just ordered 2 more bottles tonight Hopefully they'll get here real quick since I ran out yesterday. Max has improved so much, it is unbelievable. I am so grateful for this product. I can't wait to see what results will be when I take him back to the vets. Will let you know!!! Thank you Supraglan!!!

Testimonial 4

Mickey has been on the Supraglen for quite a few months now and amazingly his hair is actually starting to grow back and skin appears to be getting less flakey. Heard about this product from word of mouth and it does work! Veterinarian wanted to do costly workups, etc and went natural route and it's working wonderful!

Q7) Medical Condition:
A) tumaor cancer and congestive heart failure

Q8) Do you have a positive experience about how our products helped your pet? If so, please share your story.
A) The ES Clear product has seemed to help prolong Honey's Life since the Vet gave her only a month or two this past Spring 2007. It has also seemed to shrink the large groin tumor. She has also perked up to where she can go for short walks.

Giving your Cat or Dog Fresh Water

Do you know what may lurk in your doggy's or kitty's water? Picture still water mixed with all sorts of bacteria. Such a picture basically describes how most kitty or doggy bowls are.

The Drinkwell Dog and Cat Fountain filters provide a far healthier alternate route. Basically, the fountain filters aerates continuously flowing water to keep it much fresher than standing bowl water. Even if your pet is not a big drinker, they may drink more water using the Fountain.

Why is this important? Many cats and dogs may not drink as much water as they should. This is one reason their urine becomes so concentrated and predisposes some pets to urinary tract disease, constipation or kidney disease. In particular, cats with urinary tract or kidney disease have a critical need for water to support kidney function or prevent crystal formation and obstruction.

The Drinkwell Big-Dog Fountain is veterinarian designed and recommended by vet urinary specialists. It encourages water intake and proper hydration in healthy pets, and is especially beneficial in pets with kidney or urinary tract disease.

Health Benefits

Improves your pet's health
Reduces urinary diseases
Improves the quality of your pet's life

By using a 5-inch falling stream of water, the Drinkwell Big-Dog Fountain continually aerates your pet's water with healthful oxygen. A charcoal filter also removes bad tastes and odors, giving your pet the best possible - and most appealing - way to stay hydrated!

For more information, please check Pet Wellbeing's Drinkwell Fountains.

Legit testimonials on our site

This weekend ABC's 20/20 had a consumer beware segment warning customers in regards to feedback, testimonials and reviews posted on various websites. Although the story wasn't targeted at the retail industry but rather the travel industry, we've still received concerned calls in regards to the legitimacy of our reviews.

All of our customers receive, via e-mail a customer survey shortly after the product is delivered. All of our testimonials are responses to those survey questions. Because we take the privacy policy of our customers very seriously, we do not publish the name(s) and or location(s) without authorization.

The condition and the heartache that most of these customers go through in regards to their pet(s) is already an emotional strain, therefore, we try and help others by publishing testimonials with the intent of answering questions and or addressing concerns they may have about our product(s).

We do receive negative responses, however,,we receive more positive responses than negative (9 to 1 ratio). We don't post them in the blog 'cause no one, myself included, enjoys reading negativity especially when most customers are already in a very negative situation to begin with.

The purpose of the testimonials are to assist in the research, with consultation with a certified vet, what works best for the cat/dog in the given situation.

Customers current and potential are encouraged to give us a call and speak with a customer care representative should they have any questions or concerns at 1-877-633-2401

How to Treat your Cat or Dog's Kidney Disease

Kidney disease is a common and serious condition that affects many dogs and cats. This disease can manifest itself in two forms - acute or chronic. While the acute form occurs quickly and suddenly, the chronic form begins slowly and progresses with time.

Kidney disease basically refers to a loss of approximately seventy-five percent of normal kidney function. These organs act as the body's filtration system, so when they cease to work properly toxins and waste products begin to build up in the blood. This then leads to a variety of problems and, eventually, to death.

As a dog's or cat's kidneys lose their ability to function properly, a number of symptoms and warning signs will likely become apparent:

Changes in appetite (leading to weight loss)
Dehydration
Depression
Increased and frequent urination
Lethargic
Loss of control of bladder
Urination may contain blood or be painful
Vommitting

Since canine kidney disease is serious and can be deadly, it's extremely important to alert your veterinarian as soon as you notice any of the above symptoms or warning signs. If caught quickly, it may be possible to gain some measure of control over the disease, increasing your dog's quality of life and length of life.

To treat your cat's or dog's kidney disease with an effective herbal solution, try using Pet Wellbeing's Tripsy for cat kidney disease or Tripsy for dog kidney disease

Since my return from the winter holidays, I've had some positive feedback in regards to our Resthryo for Cat Hyperthyroidism medication. The following are customer testimonials from our customer survey(s)

Q8) Do you have a positive experience about how our products helped your pet? If so, please share your story.
A) This product has saved my elderly kitties life. He almost left us in Jan 07' but after research on the product I figured I had nothing to loose so I tried it. It did take 3 months to really see results but each day I could tell something was changing. The product is strong, so with his age I've never been able to give him the full dose; only 1/2 doses but it still has worked. He has all of his hair back, he is hunting again and weight is maintaining. I am very thankful.

Resthyro lump/goiter concern

I received an e-mail from a customer the other week wishing to have the following addressed about Resthyro for feline hyperthyroidism.

I read the review from your customers and have a question that no one is addressing. My cat was diagnosed as hyperthyroid only he has a fair sized lump. Question I have is would he have the same success for treatment (with Resthyro) as the cats I've read about; no one has mentioned a lump (goiter).

Thank you for your time.

Sharon W

Sharon,

The Resthyro should help with the hyperthyroidism, which can be the cause of the goiter. There is no guarantee that it would work for your cat. Generally it takes a long time for a goiter to form, so it could take a long time to see the results. You may want to consult your vet, to see if the cat can be given some iodine. You would need to get the iodine dosage from a vet as it would require knowledge of the food and the pet weight. If the vet feel it would help then she give the pet the iodine and the Resthyro which may help speed up the goiter reduction.
