A Dog's point of view
Did you know that a dog's vision is not as good as humans close up! Their eyes are too far apart to give accurate depth of field, however, because of the slant shape of their eyes, they're able to see sideways detecting slight movements. Although they have the correct cell make up in their eyes and can see in color, most are color blind, therefore, color recognition is very insignificant to them.
Husky's, as well as other winter breed dogs, have natural eyeliner to reduce the glare from the snow.
Bulldogs have the best night vision since their pupils take in more light and generally see in black and white.
A dog see's at 250 - 290 degrees view whereas the standard human view is 210 degrees. The reason for this is a dog's vision is part of his/her primary instinct, survival and of course hunting.
