Menu Foods Recall
I'm sure most people are aware of the canned pet food recall by Menu Foods in the USA. Wheat Gluten Meal is believed to be the culprit in the current recall.

Hi this Darrell Hacker, I have been rasing Labrador for 20 years. My breeding is for special serves dogs only. I have only 4 Labs. at any given time. I bought two Labs. on 3/10/07. These pups were in excellent condition up until 3 weeks ago. They started getting very sick. The first one didn't want to drink water and or eat. She got very dehydrated and latha. Diaria. and hair coming out. Later the other one got sick also 6 days later. I had the dog food company come down and investicate the problem. We keep our pens clean and each dofgs has a 10x10 kennel. I have never seen this before. My Vet. first thought it was trichomonas but now we think it is something else. If anyone has had these problems please let me know a jdhacker@laharpetel.com
